About the Program

The UiPath Academic Cohort Program is a flagship initiative under the UiPath Academic Alliance, designed to address the growing need for skilled automation professionals. By equipping students with industry-aligned technical expertise and credentials, the program bridges the gap between academic learning and the demands of the automation workforce.

The program leverages the UiPath platform to train participants, culminating in attaining the UiPath Associate Certification, a globally recognized credential in Automation (RPA). Through partnerships with esteemed academic and industry bodies, this initiative ensures that graduates are job-ready and primed for career advancement in automation and digital transformation.

Program Details

Eligibility Criteria

To ensure that participants are well-prepared for the program, the following eligibility criteria must be met:

Enrollment: Students must be currently enrolled in partner institutions that are part of the UiPath Academic Alliance Program.

Students passing out in the year 2026

Programming Knowledge: A basic understanding of programming concepts is required, as this foundational knowledge is crucial for grasping automation technologies.

Program Duration

• Total Duration: The program is structured for 16 weeks, allowing ample time for learning and assessment.

• Training Period: The core training lasts 8-10 weeks, during which students engage in structured learning through the UiPath Academy.

• Assessment Preparation: An additional 2-3 weeks are dedicated to preparing for the qualification assessment, ensuring students are well-equipped to succeed.

• Certification Period: The final 2-3 weeks focus on completing the certification process, including scheduling and taking the certification exam.

Student Journey

Registration Phase

Institution & Student Registration

Institutions must complete the registration process. Each participating institution will play a crucial role in enabling students to acquire industry-recognized Automation (RPA) skills and certification.

Institutions must complete the official registration process to be eligible for the program.

Each institution must nominate and register four (4) SPOCs (Single Points of Contact) who will be responsible for coordinating the program at their respective colleges.

SPOCs will act as liaisons between the institution and program administrators, ensuring seamless execution and student support.

Students should register themselves after Institution registration

Enrolment Process (ICT Academy)

Students must complete a registration form that collects essential information on the official registration page. Students that choose to register must consent to the personal information provided by them, being collected and handled by UiPath, NASSCOM and their respective affiliates and member companies for the purposes of the UiPath Academic Cohort Program (including but not limited to ICT Academy, Industry Connect and Talent Pool Access).

Upon successful registration, students will receive a confirmation email detailing the following steps and access to training materials.

Learning Phase

UiPath Automation Developer Associate Training

Students will access the UiPath Academy to engage with a structured learning path, detailed learning plan, and assessments.

The training modules cover essential topics such as RPA fundamentals, UiPath Studio, and best practices for automation.

Progress Tracking

Weekly progress checks will be implemented to monitor student engagement and completion of training modules.

Students are encouraged to complete exercises and participate in support sessions to reinforce their learning and address any challenges they may face.

Assessment Phase

Qualification Assessment

Students will complete practice tests designed to simulate the certification exam environment, helping them to prepare effectively.

A qualification assessment will be administered, with a minimum passing score of ≥70% are required to qualify for the certification voucher.

<50% marks – 50% Discounted Voucher

50%- 70% marks - 50% discounted voucher & Badge

≥ 70%- 100% marks - 100% Discounted voucher

Certification Process

Upon passing the qualification assessment, students will receive a certification voucher that allows them to schedule their certification exam.

Dedicated Program Mentors: Each student will be assigned a mentor or educator at their college or university who will provide guidance, answer questions, and offer support throughout the program.

Regular Doubt-Clearing Sessions: Scheduled sessions will be held to allow students to seek clarification on challenging topics.

Certification Support

Exam Preparation Guidance: Comprehensive resources, including study guides and tips, will be provided to help students prepare for the certification exam effectively.

Voucher Redemption Assistance: Instructions for voucher redemption will be shared with the students and educators.

Post-Certification Guidance: After certification, students will be given the option to be included in the UiPath spotlight directory https://credentialsdirectory.uipath.com/
