Our Learning Festival is designed to guide students and educators from foundational knowledge to advanced applications of the Snowflake AI Data Cloud. Each month, we will focus on:

  • Snowflake Platform Training: A comprehensive learning event ( held monthly ) that provides hands-on experience with the Snowflake AI Data Cloud and helps students take the first step toward earning the SnowPro Associate Certification.

  • More to Come: In the coming months, you will also see more tech talks, hackathons, and career events specifically designed to help the academic community gain real-world skills and connect with industry professionals.

Snowflake Platform Training : August 2025 Cohort

The Snowflake Platform Training is a comprehensive, four-week program designed to guide the academic community—both students and faculty—on a learning journey from the fundamentals to advanced applications of the Snowflake Data Cloud. This training is structured to build a strong foundation, then progressively introduce more complex and valuable skills that are highly sought after in today's data-driven world.

This program is specifically designed for the academic community and is an ideal fit for:

Students pursuing degrees in data science, computer science, or related technical fields.

Faculty members who teach courses in these areas and want to integrate modern cloud data platforms into their curriculum.

Anyone within an academic setting who wants to gain proficiency in cloud data warehousing using the Snowflake Data Cloud.

    • 01. What is the Snowflake Platform Training Month ?
      It's a free, month-long virtual training program designed to teach students and faculty how to use the Snowflake Data Cloud. It covers everything from core concepts to advanced topics like AI and machine learning.
    • 02. Who is eligible to participate?
      The program is open to students and faculty from academic institutions that are part of the ICT Academy and the Snowflake Academic Program.
    • 03. What is the cost of the training?
      This is a free event. There is no cost to participate in the training or to take the certification exam.
    • 04. What if I miss this month's training?
      Don't worry! This event repeats every month, so if you're unable to participate in the August edition, you will have another opportunity in the future.
    • 05. How do I register for the program?
      Institutions must register a Single Point of Contact (SPOC). The SPOC is then responsible for enrolling students. If you're a student or faculty member, please contact your institution's designated SPOC to be enrolled.
    • 06. What is the deadline for registration?
      The registration period for institutions and student enrolment closes on August 26, 2025.
    • 07. Is this training for beginners or advanced users?
      This program is structured to accommodate both. It starts with foundational knowledge for beginners and then progresses to advanced topics like data engineering, Snowflake Cortex AI, and Snowpark.
    • 08. Will this training prepare me for certification?
      Yes. The program is specifically designed to prepare you for the SnowPro Platform Associate Certification.
    • 09. How will I access the training materials?
      You will receive a learning guide and unique credentials to access the Snowflake platform and training materials. An orientation session will be held at the beginning of the program to help you get started.
    • 10. What kind of support is available during the training?
      You can attend office hours for direct support and to get your questions answered by the instructors.
    • 11. How do I get my certification exam voucher?
      Your SPOC will submit a completion report to the ICT Academy. Based on this report, certification vouchers will be issued.
    • 12. When will I receive the voucher?
      Vouchers will be issued eligible students based on completion of the 9 labs listed and submission of completion report by respective SPOC.
    • 13. Is the exam proctored?
      No, the exam is non-proctored. You can take it from any location.
    • 14. What happens if I don't complete the training?
      To receive a certification voucher, you must be included in the official completion report submitted by your SPOC. Please ensure you finish all required modules to be eligible.
