Phase 1: Institution & SPOC Registrations

Educational institutions register and designate a Single Point of Contact (SPOC).

Phase 2: Student Registration

SPOCs receive information packages and student registration begins on the ICT Academy website.

Phase 3: Student Self Learning and Badge Acquisition

students from registered institutions will commence their MongoDB learning journey on MongoDB University. They will engage with the provided course materials, actively participate in hands-on labs, and strive to earn MongoDB Skill Badges by successfully completing the required assessments. Upon completion of each Skill Badge, students will receive a certificate of completion and a digital badge from Credly that they can easily add to LinkedIn and share to social media.

Phase 4: Institutional Ranking

To foster a spirit of healthy competition and recognize collective effort, participating institutions will be evaluated and ranked based on two key metrics: the total number of students participating* in the MongoDB Skillathon and the total number of MongoDB Skill Badges earned by students from their institution

Student Participation is counted based on students successfully completing at least one Skill Badge

Phase 5: Public Dashboard

To ensure transparency and allow for widespread recognition of achievements, a dedicated public dashboard will be created and made accessible. This dashboard will showcase the progress of participating institutions, displaying their ranking based on the established criteria.

Phase 6: Recognition

The initiative concludes by honoring colleges and universities that show exceptional engagement. We will celebrate those institutions dedicated to advancing their students' expertise, serving as a benchmark for excellence and motivation for future participants in the ecosystem.
