In today's technological era, work is in a constant state of evolution. Demand for a sustainable career path within any industry is increasing. With industry standards shifting regularly, acquiring domain-specific technical skills has become imperative for individuals to sustain in the ever-changing job market.

To empower and prepare India’s graduating youth for the workforce, ICT Academy, in partnership with Capgemini, launched the ICT Campus to Corporate Digital Academy. Now in its second year, this impactful initiative aims to equip students from engineering, arts, and science institutions across the country with advanced skills relevant to the IT, BFSI, and KPO sectors. Through the establishment of a Centre of Excellence for Youth Empowerment at each training venue, the program delivers comprehensive training designed to bridge the gap between academia and industry. It particularly supports students facing challenges such as financial constraints or limited access to emerging job opportunities in the evolving digital economy.

Who can enrol

Final-year students of engineering, arts, and science from member institutions across India.

Selection Criteria

This project aims to benefit students in higher education across India, with a preference for students from underprivileged communities who meet at least one criterion mentioned below.

Students with a family income of less than INR 3.5 lakhs per annum
Students with single parent
Student supported by a guardian.
Physically challenged students
First-generation graduates

Courses

The students will be trained in any one of the following courses, along with soft skills.


IT
  • Oracle App – (300 Hours)
  • Web Developer – Python (230 hours)
  • Front-End Developer (230 hours)
  • Data Analyst with Power BI (230 hours)
  • Salesforce – CRM (230 hours)
  • Service Desk (230 hours)
  • BFSI
  • Premium Banker (230 hours)
  • KPO
  • Financial Transaction Associate (230 hours)
  • Soft Skills (Mandatory for all courses)

    Additionally, 70 Hours of Soft Skills are Mandatory for all courses, and 50 Hours are mandatory for Oracle App.

    Engineering, Arts and Science institutions across India can partner in this initiative. This initiative will benefit aspirants deprived of opportunities due to financial constraints and those who cannot access new economy jobs.     About ICT Academy

    ICT Academy is an initiative of the Government of India in collaboration with the state Governments and Industries. ICT Academy is a not-for-profit society, the first of its kind pioneer venture under the Public-Private-Partnership (PPP) model that endeavours to train higher education teachers and students, thereby exercising on developing the next-generation teachers and industry-ready students.


    ICT Academy was started to meet the skill requirements of the industry and generate more employment, especially in tier 2 and 3 towns, the rural parts of the country.
