Information Technology (IT) and Information Technology enabled Services (ITES) are two of the top industrial sectors with the most potential for growth and expansion. The requirement for skilled professionals, therefore, has only increased. The shortage of trained graduates in such disciplines is affecting the industry and thereby our economy. Similarly, there is a lack of awareness of current industry requirements among youths.
To bridge this gap between the skill requirement of companies and the actual skillset of the workforce, ICT Academy in association with Tamil Nadu Arasu Cable TV launches the Youth Employability Skill Program. The training will be conducted for 1,750 deserving candidates on IT and ITeS skills to enable employment opportunities in large IT majors and ITeS companies. The training will benefit unemployed youths in the district of Kanyakumari, Tamil Nadu.
