About the Project

The integration of Industry 4.0 principles into the operational fabric of Indian industries is poised to amplify the prevalence of AI-powered tools, Automation and Big Data. This disruption leads to dependencies in the domains of Cloud Computing, Data Analytics and Cybersecurity, paving the way for an escalated demand for proficient individuals well-versed in these emerging technologies.

To create such industry-ready talents and generate more employment in India, ICT Academy in association with PayPal organizes the Student Enablement Program to train underprivileged students in engineering, arts, and science institutions on advanced IT skills. ICT Academy will establish either a Centre for Women Empowerment or a Centre for Youth Empowerment in higher education institutions for UG final-year students in the states of Tamil Nadu, Karnataka, and Telangana.

140 Hours of Training (100 hours Technical skills + 40 hours Soft skills)

Establishing a Centre of Excellence for Women Empowerment (CWE) in 20 Colleges and a Centre of Excellence for Youth Empowerment (CYE) in 14 Colleges

Empowering 3400 students and 136 faculty members on industry 4.0 skills

Joint Certification by PayPal & ICT Academy, and Placement Facilitation.

Training Final Year Women and Youth from each Higher Education Institution

Students pursuing full time graduation UG across the state can register online

Creating Faculty Mentors

Four women faculty members will be trained in the advanced technology and recognized as mentors for the students.

Mentoring Sessions by Experts

Senior employees and experts from PayPal will deliver exclusive sessions for students to prepare them for the industry through volunteering and expert sessions

Assessment and Certification

An online assessment will be conducted after the training and students will be awarded joint certification by PayPal & ICT Academy.

Placement Facilitation

Exclusive placement drives for students who are certified through the program will be facilitated by ICT Academy.

Expression of Interest for Institutional Partnership

Engineering, arts & science colleges located in Tamil Nadu, Karnataka, and Telangana, which are educating women and youth students can partner in this initiative. This initiative will benefit 100 deserving students from each college.
