About the Project

It is always believed that education is the key to success and nothing can outshine the value of the education system. And the key to a great education system is the value its faculty adds to development of the entire module. In short, they are the faculties who are the most important and fundamental in driving growth, success and positive change as far as a sound education system is concerned. They are the most important resources any institution can invest upon.


However, until very recently, it was believed that only students or learners need to upgrade and update their knowledge. Often these days, faculties of technical institutions are faced with increasing demand of being more technically sound, creative and good researchers to be able to teach well. This then requires faculty members to attain new knowledge, acquire new skills and then be market ready to teach and be accepted to teach.


This is where we see that faculty members need to be prepared enough by the Educator’s Empowerment Program (EEP) in order to deal with the rapid changes and shifting paradigms in engineering and technical education, research and publications, innovation and patents. Without such training, teaching is often reduced to instructors presenting their understanding of the subject by one-way lecturing. This unique program is from ICT Academy, which is supported by Salesforce in collaboration with All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE).



Objectives of Educator’s Empowerment Program on Salesforce

  • Assistance for the upgradation of skills and knowledge.
  • Upskilling with new concepts and techniques.
  • Encourage learning of Salesforce technologies to support learners' needs.
  • Motivate to apply competitive teaching and learning practices
  • Aiming for attaining sustainable development and achieving higher growth rates.
  • Newer ways enabled through creation, transmission, and dissemination of knowledge.
  • To make learning methodology be more acceptable, easy to comprehend and contemporary.


Expected Learning outcomes from the Educator’s Empowerment program

  • Employ methods that develop students’ understanding of a discipline’s thinking, practice, values, and procedures
  • Articulate measurable, student-centered learning outcomes for a unit, course, or program.
  • Create assessments that measure student’s learning outcomes, when curriculum is integrated
  • Use high-impact teaching and learning practices, such as learner–centered teaching, team-based learning, collaborative assignments and projects, student learning communities.
  • Support in Virtual Internships, Trailmixes to achieve learning outcomes of students.
  • Use Trailhead platform as part of the instructional practice
  • Participate in cross-disciplinary teaching and learning practices

  • Salesforce Platform Developer Track : The Salesforce Platform Developer I EEP is intended for individuals who have knowledge, skills, and experience building custom applications on the Lightning Platform.

  • SalesforceAdministrator Track : Salesforce Admin EEP guide how to customize the platform, support users within the company, and forge a connection between business and technology.

  • MuleSoft : MuleSoft EEP will help to understand how businesses to seamlessly connect data, applications and devices across their on-premises and cloud computing environments (Available soon)

Educator’s Empowerment / Faculty Development Program Framework

This is Educator’s Empowerment Program (EEP) is a five day’s on-campus training program, but it also has to meet the requirements such able to match the Outcome based learning; this framework depict the overall structure

When the faculty complete the EEP, the impact is widespread. Some of the notable benefits include:


  • 40 Hours of overall on-campus learning experience, upskill and cross skill faster
  • Hands on experience, acquire badges, mentoring support from the trainer
  • Faculty will obtain a certificate of participation as per the requirements from Academia.
  • This Educator’s Empowerment Program (EEP) from ICT Academy is supported by All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE).
  • Additional certification through NASSCOM Future skill Prime on Salesforce Developer Catalyst, Salesforce Administrator and MuleSoft
  • Instructors are enabled to teach the trending Salesforce technologies.; which will help to deliver the contents once the Salesforce Technologies are integrated with the curriculum as Professional / Open / Soft core Electives in the Engineering Program
  • Consistent student experiences can be established and maintained.
  • Institutional leaders are cultivated, with Tech skills; thus guiding Salesforce student Ambassadors on Campus; organize Tech Talks, Panel Discussions etc
  • Use Trailhead as an effective platform to bring change in the Padagogy and help in creating a better platform for Outcome Based Education.
  • Internal advocates can help influence other associates by mentoring and supporting the students in the Salesforce Virtual Internship, NASSCOM Future Skill / ICT Academy Programs.

Who can Apply for the Educator’s Empowerment / Faculty Development Program

  • Faculty member who is Teaching at the - B.E / B.Tech / M.Tech Departments in : Comp Science / Information Science / Electrical & Electronics / Artificial Intelligence & Machine Learning / Data Science & Analytics / Internet of Things / Cyber Security / Computer Science & Design and other related fields.
  • Interested in upskilling and cross skilling by involving themselves in learning to teach with an emphasis on Remember - Understand - Apply - Analyze - Evaluate and Create.
  • Faculty who want to play an important role in strengthening the Industry enabled Courses / programs at the institutional level.
  • Who wants to learn the trending technologies which are not accessible due to their interdisciplinary nature and non-availability in the engineering syllabus.
  • Most important, the faculty member who would like to be an ambassador / catalyst in teaching the Salesforce technologies at the campus /region.
