As global demand for a workforce skilled in emerging technologies increases, there remains a significant skill gap in India that must be addressed. As industries adopt technology to boost productivity, skill development becomes a crucial area that educational institutions need to embrace. In collaboration with the National Skill Development Corporation (NSDC), ICT Academy organizes 'Employability Skill Training' to equip higher education students with skills in the IT, ITeS, BFSI, and retail sectors.

Who can enrol ?

Higher education students of arts, science and engineering colleges in the states of Jammu & Kashmir, Assam, Nagaland, Tamil Nadu, Puducherry, Andhra Pradesh, Telangana, Karnataka, Delhi NCR, and Maharashtra.

Students will be trained in any one of the following courses.
IT

  • Application Developer - Mobile & Web
  • Web Developer
ITES
Images Modules:
  • Customer Care Executive - Domestic Voice
BFSI
Images Modules:
  • MIS Data Analyst - Financial Services
  • Microfinance Executive
  • Insurance Agent
Retail
Images Modules:
  • Retail Trainee Associate
  • Retail Sales Associate
Employability Skill Training

Selection Criteria

Engineering students from underprivileged communities with any one criterion mentioned below

Student with a family income less than INR 3.5 lakhs per annum Students with single parent Student supported by a guardian Physically challenged students First-generation graduates

Of arts, science and engineering colleges in the states of Jammu & Kashmir, Assam, Nagaland, Tamil Nadu, Puducherry, Andhra Pradesh, Telangana, Karnataka, Delhi NCR, and Maharashtra are eligible to partner in this initiative.
